11th CEWEP Waste-to-Energy Congress on 5th-6th June 2025 in Gdánsk, Poland
CEWEP’s Congress is back in 2025, and we are thrilled to invite you to the European Solidarity Centre in Gdánsk, Poland from 5th – 6th June! Join Waste-to-Energy experts in engaging discussions on latest policy, technology and markets developments and enjoy insightful contributions on key topics shaping the sector like decarbonisation, communication, PFAS, etc.
After registration, you will be able to network with other participants through the Congress app.
Time schedule:
- 4th June – Welcome Dinner & Ignis Awards Ceremony (in memory of Carsten Spohn) at the historic Artus Court
- 5th June – A full Congress day at the European Solidarity Centre in Gdánsk, followed by a networking dinner and CEWEP Awards Ceremony.
- 6th June – On the last day, we will deep dive into the topic of PFAS & WtE during the Technical Seminar. You will also be able to visit the Port Czystej Energii Gdánsk WtE plant.
All the practical information on how to get around and where to stay can be found here. Given the high demand for accommodation due to multiple events in Gdánsk that week, we encourage you to book your hotel early.
Tickets and Pricing:
- Full Programme (incl. PFAS Seminar): €800 (+ Polish VAT) for members | €990 (+ Polish VAT) for non-members
The Full Programme Ticket includes entry to the Congress Day on 5th June, the Technical Seminar on 6th June, as well as the Technical Visit to the Gdánsk WtE Plant in the afternoon. Both the Welcome Dinner on 4th June and the Networking Dinner on 5th June are included.
- Congress (excl. PFAS Seminar): €700 (+ Polish VAT) for members | €850 (+ Polish VAT) for non-members
The Congress Day Only Ticket includes entry to the Congress Day on 5th June and the Technical Visit to the Gdánsk WtE plant in the morning on 6th June. Both the Welcome Dinner on 4th June and the Networking Dinner on 5th June are included.
- Technical Seminar Only: €250 (+ Polish VAT) for members | €350 (+ Polish VAT) for non-members
The Technical Seminar Only Ticket includes entry to the Technical Seminar on 6th June and the Technical Visit to the Gdánsk WtE plant in the afternoon. Please note that there are no dinners included in this ticket.
- A free ticket is offered to students, academia, press and European government officials. If you are a student and interested in attending the Congress, get in touch with us via events@cewep.eu
- Partner’s Participation: €220 (+ Polish VAT)
The Partner’s Participation Ticket includes both the Welcome Dinner on 4th June and the Networking Dinner on 5th June. Additionally, a guided tour of the city of Gdánsk is foreseen on 5th June.
- One Dinner and access to online networking platform: €160 (+ Polish VAT)
The One Dinner Only Ticket includes participation in one of the dinners organized as part of the Congress on June 4th or 5th, along with the access to the event’s online networking platform.
